Where to find the best brunch around Stuttgart
If you’re searching for the best brunch spots in Stuttgart, this list is for you. I’m also including a few standout cafés in nearby Böblingen and Esslingen, since some of my favorite brunch finds are just outside the city.
Cafe Findelkind, Esslingen
Bondy Restaurant (Böblingen)
Bondy Restaurant in Böblingen, just outside Stuttgart, is a great brunch option for larger groups. Parking is conveniently located right outside, which makes it especially appealing if you’re meeting friends. Their brunch menu is extensive, with classics like avocado toast and eggs Benedict with salmon. If you’re dining with a friend, order one savory dish and share the decadent cinnamon French toast. They also offer a two-item brunch pairing for 19 euros. Reservations are recommended, especially on weekends.
Wyld Tagesbar & Concept Store (Stuttgart)
Wyld Tagesbar & Concept Store is a charming spot in Stuttgart to grab coffee with a friend. The brunch menu is fairly limited, leaning toward pastries, but if you have a sweet tooth, the French toast topped with fresh fruit is a standout. It’s an easy, low-key stop with no reservation required, making it perfect for spontaneous brunch plans.

Die Wunderkammer (Stuttgart)
With its cozy, eclectic interior, Die Wunderkammer is one of the most visually charming brunch cafés in Stuttgart. The space is small, so reservations are required, especially on weekends. Seasonal and specialty coffees are available, and one fun detail is that checks are delivered inside Agatha Christie books. The brunch menu includes around a dozen options, most of them savory.
Fráula Café (Sindelfingen)
Fráula Café in Sindelfingen has a warm, homey feel with just the right touch of chic. I know this sounds crazy, but you can order classic fried eggs with bacon and sausage, a simple breakfast that can be surprisingly hard to find in Germany. If you’re craving something sweeter, their decadent pancakes balance the menu perfectly.
Brunch Spots in Esslingen (Perfect for a Morning Walk)
Panoramic views of Esslingen from Esslingen Castle walls
The next three brunch spots are located in Esslingen, a town known for its half-timbered houses and postcard-worthy old town. Brunch here pairs perfectly with a leisurely walk through the historic streets. If you’re feeling ambitious, walk up to Esslingen Castle and return via the walled stairs into town. The panoramic views over Esslingen and the surrounding vineyards are especially beautiful from summer into early fall.
MO:KA Café (Esslingen)
MO:KA Café in Esslingen previously operated under a different name, but the menu and relaxed vibe remain just as good. This café is especially appealing for those looking for vegan brunch options, and their specialty coffee selection is excellent.
Mi chiamo: café, coffee, sweets and bowls (Esslingen)
Tucked away in an unassuming location, Mi chiamo is a hidden brunch gem in Esslingen. The menu offers a variety of choices, from savory bowls to indulgent pancakes, all paired with excellent coffee. Several vegan options are also available, making it a great choice for mixed dietary preferences.
Café Findelkind (Esslingen)
Café Findelkind was the first brunch spot I tried in Esslingen after we moved to Germany, and it remains a favorite. The lavender latte is a must-try, and the interior has a relaxed, boho aesthetic. On warmer days, outdoor seating makes it an especially lovely place to catch up over brunch.
