My love for travel began like it does for many, during a study abroad program in college. I spent a summer in Manchester, England, a life-changing experience for a small-town North Carolina girl whose travels had mostly included local beaches and the occasional trip to Disney World. That time overseas opened my eyes to just how much of the world was waiting to be explored.

With a background in Marketing, I entered the corporate world after graduation. But I couldn’t shake the quiet voice inside whispering that there was more out there for me. While working full-time, I began building a photography business on the side. In 2014, I took a leap and left my corporate job to pursue entrepreneurship full-time.

Since then, I’ve had the privilege of photographing everything from weddings and families to corporate events and editorial assignments. In 2022, I made another pivot- this time from a thriving photography business in the U.S. to a new life in South Korea with my growing family. There, my passion for storytelling deepened, and I began combining photography with writing to document our travels across Asia.

I’ve never felt like I fit neatly into one box. My travels vary- sometimes with my family, sometimes solo, sometimes with friends. What you’ll find here is a mix of photography and business insights from over fifteen years of experience, travel stories, and detailed guides for curious, intentional travelers.

I now live in Stuttgart, Germany, with my husband and two children, where we’ll be based until at least 2027. I continue photographing families and brands alongside my travel work, operating under a German business license.
